The South Florida Rail Corridor (SFRC) New River CSX Railroad Bascule Bridge PD&E Study process has provided several opportunities for the public to comment on the proposed improvements. These opportunities have included public meetings, small group meetings, and this project website. Project information and documents have been uploaded to this website for review.

On Thursday, July 9, 2009, at 5:30 p.m., a public kick-off meeting was held for the South Florida Rail Corridor New River CSX Railroad Bascule Bridge PD&E Study. On Tuesday, January 25, 2011, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Four, conducted a Public Hearing for this project. The Hearing was held at the Events Hall within the International Game Fish Association Hall of Fame, located at 300 Gulf Stream Way, Dania Beach, Florida. The Public Hearing began at 6:00 p.m. A formal presentation followed at 6:30 p.m. after which there was a public testimony period. For additional information please click here.
